Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Gupta Group of companies, Michael Gupta said, “We came across a new line of beverages coming directly from Europe which aligns with our mission at Gupta distribution to import and distribute products of high quality and taste,” he told attendees at the launch of KABISA.

Gupta disclosed that the energy drink comes in three varieties: KABISA Party, which has 18 per cent triple distilled vodka; SPICY Ginger which is a soda beverage and KABISA original, a 100 per cent energy booster.

The CEO said too that all of the KABISA drinks, which contain alcohol, have passed the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) which is the highest European standard for beverage certification while noting that they have also been certified by International Food Standards (IFS).

“Like all other alcoholic beverages, we do advise persons to drink responsibly and with caution. It is a safe drink because it was tested out of the highest standard possible before we import it here. We also pass through Food and Drug Association of Guyana and we have all the right permission and privileges necessary to import KABISA into the country,” Gupta stated.

The businessman related that KABISA has all-natural ingredients and there are no artificial preservatives or sweeteners. “We have had fantastic reviews about the drink so far. When persons heard that we imported the drink they couldn’t wait for an official launch. We’ve started distribution already, we’re in Bartica and all the way up Mazaruni,” he said.

The Gupta group initially started as an engineering firm but has since diversified adding a security firm and now a beverage distribution arm.

“Our sights are set on being the most consistent and reliable importers and distributors of high-quality products from around the world which resulted in our new establishment, Gupta Distribution,” the CEO said.

KABISA Party is being retailed at $500 per can while KABISA Ginger and Original are being sold at $200 per can.
