The Mayor and Councillors of the City of Georgetown wishes to inform all vendors who ply their trade in the City to desist from leaving their goods on the streets/parapets after their daily trade. A reminder is also given to practice proper hygiene and to follow the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and PAHO/WHO.
Further, vendors found plying their trade without a face mask shall be entitled to a fine of five thousand dollars ($5,000). Items left on the streets/parapets shall be ceased by the Mayor and Councillors of the City of Georgetown. Remember to keep your environment clean and free from encumbrances.
