The Customs Anti Narcotic Unit (CANU) has issued another wanted bulletin for Marlon Primo of MA Trading.
According to CANU, Primo, whose last known addresses are 701 Cummings Lodge, ECD & 69 Atlantic Ville, ECD, is wanted for questioning.
“Anyone knowing his whereabouts is kindly asked to make contact with CANU HQ – 2273507, 2260431,” CANU urged in a statement.
Marlon is wanted in relation to the 11.5-tons of cocaine discovered by Belgian police earlier this month in a container from Guyana.
Dubbed by federal prosecutors as the “the largest overseas drug bust ever,” Belgian police, seized the 11.5 tons of cocaine from Guyana, which was valued at 900 million Euros or 1.065 billion US dollar.
The vessel reportedly left Georgetown in late October, 2020, with what was supposed to be scrap metal.
While the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) had taken two persons into custody, those individuals have thus far been released following intense questioning, and Primo is among those wanted in connection with the mega drug bust.
German authorities in August had seized 1.5 tonnes of cocaine in Hamburg, shipped in a container of rice. Also on September 15, 2020 an aircraft was found at Nine Miles airstrip in Region Seven, with 390 kilograms of cocaine.
