A portrait of Guyana’s famed artiste, Eddy Grant, was painted onto one of Trans Guyana Airways planes.

Indigenous artiste Ransford Simon painted the portrait after he was commissioned by Trans Guyana Airways.

The portrait of Grant was painted onto the plane’s tail end.

Apart from Grant, Simon has painted portraits of a tufted coquette hummingbird and an indigenous hunter onto planes in Trans Guyana Airways’ fleet.

The Grammy nominated singer is excited about being featured on the aircraft.

“Thank you Trans Guyana Airways. Thank you Ransford for doing a great job,” Grant said in a social media post. (Loop News)
