Govt extends public assistance to HIV, cancer patients

All persons living with permanent disabilities to receive public assistance for life, Minister of Human Service and Social Security, Dr. Vindyha Persaud had announced.

Minister Persaud said medical examinations establishing the disability will only be required once to qualify and public assistance is now extended to persons living with HIV and cancer.
