If you’re on a budget or don’t want to use chemicals in your cleaning process, here’s the opportunity to make your hardwood floors shine naturally by following these simple steps:-

Sweep & Vacuum Floor– Remove all furniture in the room then sweep and vacuum the floor. Doing both offer better opportunity to ensure you didn’t miss any dirt or dust. Once all the dirt is picked up then you can move on to shining your floor.

Shine Floor With These Natural Ingredients-

  • Lemon Juice Mixed With Water: Lemon juice is perfect for cleaning. First dilute the juice with some water, then use it to shine the floor. It’ll give your floor a nice lemony scent without using any chemicals.
  • Olive Oil, White Vinegar, & Water: Mix all three of these natural ingredients together and you’ll know how to make hardwood floors shine naturally. This mixture is one of the best ways to restore the natural shine back to your solid hardwood floor. The olive oil is the secret ingredient to making your floors look shiny and brand new.
  • Tea: Brew a couple of tea bags in water and use that as a cleaner. It may sound strange, but tea’s acidity can help lift dirt from the floor. Tea is great for getting small pieces of dirt out of the grooves of your hardwood floor.
  • Vegetable Oil & White Vinegar: Mix equal parts vegetable oil and white vinegar together to make a simple, yet effective, cleaner for your hardwood floor. Vinegar is a natural polish that is perfect for cleaning. Its acidity will help break down dirt and grime.

Shining the floor– Choose any of the natural ingredients listed above to clean the hardwood floor naturally. Once you’ve mixed the choice ingredients together, it’s now time to shine the floors! You can take a sponge and add your cleaning mixture to it. Use the sponge to buff each section of the floor. It is suggested to start from the corner and work your way around. To protect your hard work don’t step into a section you’re cleaning before it dries. Once you’re done take a look at your shiny brand-new floor and give yourself a pat on the back.
