A brawl between a man and his stepfather at the mining village of Ekereku, Region Seven turned gruesome after the younger male’s hands were almost severed by his assailant.

Reports are that Michael Fernandes, said to be in his 20s, was involved in a heated argument with his stepfather on Friday afternoon at Ekereku ‘Bottom’ when the duo starting fighting. The fight stemmed from constant exchanges the two would usually have, a resident said.
