Guyana receives US$61M from fifth lift

The Government of Guyana has received payment for its fifth oil lift at a total of US$61M bringing the total in the country’s Natural Resources Fund (NRF) to US$267M.
This was announced by the Ministry of Natural Resources on Wednesday. According to the Ministry, the lift was completed on February 5, 2021, bringing the grand total to date of 5,009,797 barrels of oil worth US$ 246,542,662.

Inclusive of Royalties the total in the NRF account now stands at US$267,668, 709.12.

The Government of Guyana, through the Ministry of Natural Resources, has stated that it is committed to providing updates on oil lifts and sales as may be necessary to ensure all stakeholders and members of the public are informed.
