Art of Living Guyana extends its deepest condolences to the families, loved ones, and communities affected by the tragic MV Barima incident.
As Guyana observes the three-day period of national mourning, we join the nation in remembering those who lost their lives, praying for their families, and standing in solidarity with everyone affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.

Recognizing the profound emotional impact that such events can have on individuals, families, first responders, and communities, Art of Living Guyana will offer three days of free guided meditation and breathing sessions during the national mourning period.
These sessions are intended to provide a quiet and supportive space for reflection, emotional resilience, and moments of inner calm during this period of grief and distress.
In addition to the public sessions, the Art of Living Guyana Center is available to support affected families with guided meditation, breathing practices, and techniques to help manage anxiety, stress, emotional distress, and sleep difficulties.

This support is wellness-based and does not include medical treatment, psychological therapy, or professional grief counselling. Families requiring clinical, emergency, or specialized mental-health support are encouraged to contact the appropriate healthcare and social-service providers.
