Guyana Cycling Federation Holds Special Meeting to Elect Council Members

In another positive step toward strengthening the sport, the Guyana Cycling Federation (GCF) convened a special meeting on Saturday, March 14, at the National Racquet Centre. In accordance with constitutional requirements, five (5) council members were elected to serve in the GCF council alongside the executive body. 

The newly elected council members are:

– Mr. Geron Williams (Continental) 

– Mr. Masimba Williams (KARCC) 

– Mr. Andrew Arjoon (KFC) 

– Mr. Davindra Ramnarine (Carlton Wheelers) 

– Mr. Sean Chin-Chan (Flying Stars) 

These council members will now form the General Council, working collaboratively with the executive members. They will also contribute to key committees, Finance, Racing, and Discipline ensuring stronger governance and improved management of cycling in Guyana. 

The GCF remains committed to fostering transparency, accountability, and growth within the sport, and this election marks another milestone in building a solid foundation for the future of cycling in Guyana.
