Designers from across the globe converged in the French capital this week as Paris Fashion Week brought together established fashion houses and emerging brands to present their latest collections.

The globally recognised fashion showcase is running from March 2 to 10, 2026, transforming the city into a hub of creativity and style as designers unveil the newest trends for the Fall-Winter 2026-2027 season through a series of runway shows and presentations.

Among the emerging brands featured this year was Blu Saki, a Caribbean label known for its women’s and men’s resort wear as well as home accents. The brand was presented through Doors NYC, a platform that provides a physical and digital gateway for the new generation of fashion and is headed by Alise Trautmane Uzuner.

Blu Saki’s fabrics are designed by Supriya Singh Bodden, who is also the founder of the Guyana Foundation, a charitable trust that provides empowerment and skills training through its Sunrise Centers.

The fabrics used in the collection reflect the beauty, vibrancy and rich colours of the Caribbean, including influences from the Cayman Islands. According to the brand, the materials are made from fibre that is 100 percent biodegradable and compostable, making the label inherently eco-friendly.

Beyond its fashion focus, Blu Saki also maintains a strong social mission. The brand says a portion of its revenue supports empowerment training programmes in Guyana and other Caribbean countries.

Blu Saki currently operates a flagship retail store in the Cayman Islands, while its collections are sold wholesale to vendors around the world, expanding the reach of Caribbean-inspired design on the global fashion stage.
