LNDCH4 Guyana has made a significant donation of new appliances to Joshua House Children Centre. The donation ceremony held at the orphanage’s premises on July 4, 2024, marked a milestone in LNDCH4 Guyana’s commitment to making a positive impact beyond energy infrastructure development.

The decision to donate these appliances was followed by an initial site visit of the LNDCH4 Guyana team in April to the orphanage located at 255/6 South Thomas St, Georgetown. This visit allowed the team to assess the specific needs of the orphanage, which houses over twenty displaced children, and tailor their donation efforts accordingly. The donation, consisting of essential household appliances such as refrigerators, freezers and storage racks, underscores LNDCH4 Guyana’s approach to corporate social responsibility. These appliances are intended to enhance the daily operations and living conditions of the children and staff at Joshua House, contributing to their comfort and well-being.

The donation ceremony was attended by the Country Manager and other representatives from LNDCH4 Guyana and was received by Gladys Accra, the director of Joshua House Children’s Center, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the support received.
