The Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has launched an investigation into an incident involving a Trans Guyana Airways Cessna Caravan aircraft, registered as 8R-GCC.
The incident occurred on Thursday, September 17, 2026, in Mabaruma, Region One, at approximately 08:15 hours.
Preliminary reports indicate that the aircraft experienced a runway excursion. There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
The GCAA has dispatched its Accident and Investigation Team to the site to conduct a thorough assessment.
