The Guyana Public Service Union (GPSU) extends warm fraternal greetings and peace to all our Muslim brothers and sisters across Guyana, especially those within the public service, on the sacred occasion of Youman Nabi.

As we join in commemorating the birth and life teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, we are reminded of his profound messages of humility, justice, peace, and deep compassion for the vulnerable. These values serve as a powerful blueprint for building a more equitable, fair, and harmonious society.

The GPSU highly values the dedication, resilience, and invaluable contributions that our Muslim members and citizens continue to make toward the advancement of our workforce and the development of our nation. In a diverse Guyana, our shared commitment to mutual respect, unity, and social progress remains our greatest strength.

May the principles of love, charity, and tolerance demonstrated on this occasion, work together for the collective upliftment of our communities and our country.

Best wishes for a peaceful, reflective, and blessed Youman Nabi.
