What Has Cuba Done to Deserve the Blockade?

Dear Editor,

At the United Nations today [Tuesday] 136 nations voted in favour of holding additional debate on the UN General Assembly Agenda item 38 – “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba”, this is a step in the right direction. In advance of the next round of this debate, as a member of the human race, irrespective of ones religious or other beliefs, and on behalf of persons I have spoken to around the globe; what wrong things have the people of Cuba done to have a blockade that is causing suffering to an entire nation? A clear lucid answer will be helpful.
