Dear Editor,
Subsequent to a letter I dispatched earlier yesterday dealing with the United Nations vote to debate the United States blockade against Cuba, I was horrified to learn that my Guyana did not vote.
At the United Nations there are three buttons available to delegates, the green indicates support for the motion, the red button indicates opposition, and the yellow button indicates abstention. I must assume that my country’s representative is either colour blind or suffered an acute case of arthritis or paralysis of the hands, or had an acute case of diarrhea and could not make it to his or her seat when the vote was being taken.
