How did he die? Who was he fronting for?

Dear Editor,

As my Christian priest explained in the sermon no matter how much wealth you acquired from legitimate and or illegitimate means, you can’t take it to the grave. The sudden death of a young man is stirring controversial comments on social media. His sudden passing was officially announced by the Presidency. The Vice President was the first to condole his passing. While his death shocked many and generated widespread, official reports indicate it was a sudden medical event tied to cardiac arrest. Who was he? How did he acquire wealth? And how did he die?

His name figured in the 2020 elections and the Russian mafia. He was reportedly expelled by the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) Guyana. Was he quizzed by police?

Social media has associated him with massive corruption.  He was unknown until a few years ago, and he was an unassuming young man from the countryside of rural Corentyne. He died well-known by the PPP ruling class and the connected, not the lower class from which he traced his roots. The political class expressed condolences. The ruling elite will now have to find a replacement to front for them. It is not known what he built, if anything, and what services he provided, if any, but he received billions in contracts and the amounts of fees from investors.

He struggled in New York. He could hardly make ends meet. Then he suddenly became wealthy like no other in the history of Guyana and Guyanese abroad. He made it big with connections from PPP ranking officials, at first importing drugs and equipment and other items supplying government with lucrative turnover. He received huge contracts like few others did from NDIA, Works, Health. etc. He was a supplier of pharmaceuticals and health related paraphernalia and equipment related to Covid. Then he became a front, an agent, for a dozen leading PPP officials. He was the go between person — between would be investors and officials – huge fees. He had connections with the highest office holders.

He lived a high flying life – from hardly affording a drink to pink champagne, from hardly affording a trip to Guyana to the most exotic places, from hardly affording an economy airline ticket to first class, from never experiencing a hotel room to Presidential suite. From inability to own a car, he drove fancy most expensive cars. He brought in high priced vehicles that would compete with Azruddin. He hardly paid any custom duties. He bought two houses from a former Minister who is now a foreign based diplomat – one on Lefferts and another at an exclusive area on Long Island. Billions of Guyanese dollars passed through his hands in Guyana and tens of millions of American dollars in USA. He was at every Energy Conference in Guyana and in Houston. He was also at various Exhibitions in Guyana.  Investors were directed to him. He was very big. And with bigness and the nature of that kind of business, comes high risks.

His death from a massive heart attack, according to social media reports, has raised suspicion. He has been well health wise. There have not been any signs of illness. Last seen on the evening of the flag raising with a beautiful young companion. He said hello to me and went upstairs to the VVIP section on the boat to Fort Island. He was kind to me buying drinks and food over the years. He was also seen taking drinks at the hotel with companions. He bought drinks for a few of us at the hotel. Then next morning news came that he collapsed and died.

What will he tell Jesus? How did he die? Who was he fronting for? Since he is an American,  President Ali should call in the American government, request Ambassador Theriot, to investigate his sudden wealth and sudden death.

Yours truly,

Name Withheld
