Dear Editor,
Taking bread out of the mouths of families is horribly wrong but could you imagine telling your children that they can’t have a Merry Christmas because some heartless, video making, deceitful minister prevented you from earning an honest dollar.
Could you imagine the look on their little faces when the neighbours are celebrating in grand style while they cannot get the overpriced meat in some pepper pot. Not a fairy light or a Christmas tree in their home. Perhaps the Minister of Pretense should break the news to those children.
Not a soul contended the beautification project but you can’t just get up and build the great walls of poverty around the area where people are trying to earn a living in this economically burdensome country. Reel and come again early next year.
Perhaps if she ever had to “hussle” to provide for her family she might have been more understanding or maybe if she truly had a heart of compassion this would not have been the case.
Priya please and thanks… Do better by the people you pretend to care about. Not everyone is looking for handouts. While our people are labeled as looking for handouts truth is most people actually want to earn their money.
Purchase a conscience with taxpayers money and then use it.
Yours truly,
Odessa Primus M.P
