CARICOM welcomes Japan’s support for early warning systems

As the world commemorates Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025, Guyana proudly joins millions of innovators, builders, and creators across the globe in celebrating the power and promise of enterprise. This year’s theme, “Together We Build,” is both a call to action and a reflection of our collective journey. It reminds us that meaningful progress—economic, social, and developmental—is not the product of individual ambition alone, but of shared vision, collaboration, and unity of purpose.
Entrepreneurs remain the architects of transformation. They solve problems, identify opportunities, and challenge the status quo. Their spirit of innovation fuels job creation, community upliftment, and national growth. In Guyana, we are witnessing an inspiring resurgence of entrepreneurial energy, with emerging businesses pushing boundaries and contributing to our evolving economic landscape.
Through the Together We Win Business Network, we continue to champion this momentum by fostering partnership, mentorship, and access to knowledge. Our commitment is to build a supportive ecosystem where entrepreneurs can learn from each other, strengthen capacity, and thrive—because we believe that when businesses grow, communities rise.
It is within this broader ecosystem-building mission that Startup Huddle Georgetown plays a vital role. As its Organizer under the Global Entrepreneurship Network, I have had the privilege of seeing the incredible talent and determination that define our local entrepreneurial community. Startup Huddle Georgetown provides a trusted platform where founders can openly share their challenges, receive honest feedback, refine their ideas, and grow with the support of peers. It exemplifies the theme of this year’s celebration by showing that entrepreneurship flourishes most when nurtured through collaboration and collective wisdom.
This Global Entrepreneurship Week, I encourage every entrepreneur—whether seasoned or aspiring—to embrace the power of partnership. Seek mentorship. Share insights. Support a fellow business owner. Engage in continuous learning. Together, we can build stronger enterprises, stronger networks, and stronger communities.
As Guyana continues its remarkable transformation, let us ensure that our entrepreneurial spirit leads with integrity, innovation, and resilience. Together, we build—our businesses, our communities, and our nation.
Happy Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025 to all Guyanese innovators, creators, and dreamers.
