Five minors arrested in Tobago on assault charges

FIVE minors on outstanding warrants for assault by beating were arrested in Scarborough, Tobago, on November 4.

The operation was conducted between 8 am and and 10.30 amand was coordinated by Insp Wilson and supervised by Sgt Yorke. The exercise was executed by officers attached to the Scarborough Police Station.

During the operation, officers arrested a 14 year old, of Cradley Trace, Concordia; a 14 year old, of Bon Accord; a 14 year old, of Calder Hall, Scarborough; a 16 year old of Smithfield, Scarborough; and a 16 year old, of Calder Hall, Scarborough.

All suspects, who are students, were taken into police custody for processing and are expected to appear before the Juvenile Court to answer the respective charges.

Enquiries are continuing.
