The People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) and the people of Guyana extend our deepest sympathies to the family of the late Attorney-at-Law Rinee Kissoon.

Ms. Kissoon was a distinguished legal professional whose unwavering dedication and significant contributions greatly enhanced our jurisprudence. As a strong woman, trial advocate, and esteemed member of her family’s legal firm, she left an indelible mark on our legal fraternity. Her passing is a profound loss to our nation, and her legacy of integrity and excellence will be remembered and celebrated.

We especially recognise her as the daughter of Jailal Kissoon (Jai Kissoon), a respected former Minister of Agriculture in the PNC government, and the wife of Acting Chief Justice Navindra Singh. Her life and work exemplified a commitment to justice, service, and strength.

The PNCR stands with all of Guyana during this difficult time, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

May her Soul rest in Eternal Peace.
