By Mark DaCosta- A construction site in Bachelor’s Adventure, East Coast Demerara, has become the scene of a tragic incident today as reports emerge of a fatal accident involving construction workers. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collapse of a concrete wall, which is suspected to have crushed one worker, tragically ending his life. The situation is critical as several other individuals remain trapped under the debris, prompting intense rescue efforts.

Witnesses at the scene reported a sudden noise followed by visible chaos as the wall, which was erected for a new supermarket, gave way unexpectedly. Emergency services were swift in their response, deploying rescue teams to assist those trapped and to recover the deceased. At this time, the identity of the victim has not been disclosed, and it remains unclear how many workers were present when the incident occurred.
