The 19th staging of the Caribbean Week of Agriculture (CWA) will take place from 29 September to 3 October 2025 in St. Kitts and Nevis, bringing together regional stakeholders to address pressing challenges and opportunities in the Caribbean’s agricultural sector.

Held under the theme “Sowing Change, Harvesting Resilience: Transforming Our Caribbean Food Systems for 2025 and Beyond,” the event is positioned as a key platform to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and build more climate-resilient and food-secure systems across the region.

According to Dr. Wendell Samuel, Senior Economic Adviser and Acting Assistant Secretary-General at the CARICOM Secretariat, the week-long event will continue its legacy of uniting leaders and innovators around shared agricultural goals.

“The Caribbean Week of Agriculture continues to serve as the premier regional platform for raising awareness and promoting investments in agriculture and food and nutrition security… It plays a pivotal role in reshaping public perception, stimulating meaningful engagement, and supporting the growth of the region’s food systems,” Dr. Samuel stated.

CWA 2025 will spotlight climate-smart agriculture, offer space for the exchange of best practices, and promote strategic partnerships across both public and private sectors. Organisers see the event as a critical lever for transformation in line with regional development goals and food security strategies.
