Orange Economy Consultation

Dear His Worship, the Mayor & City Councilors
Further to email previously sent today kindly see hereinbelow.
The school term restarts Monday 8th September 2025 and your urgent action is necessary. Highly unlikely the building would be ready to house Mae’s School students. Other accommodation is available for rental by the private business, which has failed in its duty of care to staff, students, neighbours and the family of the deceased, by omitting to rectify the pre-existing electrical issues at school previous to the fire as well as being in breach of its covenant on the transport.
Ironic, that the same M&CC gearing to move to court over proposed Carifesta Ave hotel – Mentore – Stabroek News is opposing this gift on one hand and on the other it had in March 2025, granted a permit over a gift given by the then Chairman of the Kitty village Council, subsumed into M&CC. Also, this permit flies in the face of legally binding precedent, City loses legal battle over Bel Air Park playground – Stabroek News.
Please see email trail below for the permit date as provided by the City Engineer’s Office.
Do share these SOPs of M&CC.
Kind regards,
Elizabeth Deane-Hughes
&
Other residents of Subryanville.
