WUHAN — Wang Xiaoping, former director of the disciplinary committee of the Chinese Football Association, has been sentenced to 10 years and six months in prison for bribery, a court in Central China’s Hubei province said.

Wang was also fined 700,000 yuan (about $97,887), and all of his illegal gains from bribery and related earnings will be recovered and turned over to the national treasury, the people’s court of Songzi city in Hubei announced in a public ruling on Wednesday.
