Dear Editor,
While many are distracted by the feud between The Mohammed’s and the People’s Progressive Party it is important to acknowledge the resurgence of the A Partnership For National Unity which can only be attributed to the stewardship of the party’s leader Mr. Aubrey Compton Norton.
Notably, over 60 percent of the persons on the National Top List for the A Partnership for National Unity are young intellectually inclined people from diverse backgrounds.
While many including myself would have been in a state of trepidation regarding those who left the People’s National Congress Reform it was those within the party who advised that I remain focused and trust the process.
The glaring resurgence of the party is testament to the tenacity of Cde Leader Aubrey Compton Norton.
His constant drive and penchant for youth representation continues to bellow at every press conference and public meeting that has so far been held.
As one of the young individuals who are part of this movement towards change and having the proclivity for youth policy and development without further ado I throw my support behind Mr Aubrey Compton Norton and Juretha Fernandes as the Presidential and Prime Ministerial Candidates for the A Partnership for National Unity (APNU).
I am not looking for any accolades nor commendation but I’m solely interested in contributing to the development of young people as they are the future leaders of tomorrow.
While many are contributing to the background noise Mr Norton was one who moved in silence and got the job done which was emerging with a resilient team with individuals such as Eden Corbin, Ronald Daniels, Dr Dexter Todd, Paul Williams et.alia.
Let us continue to remain focused and not be entrapped in the background noise.
Yours truly,
Antonio Dey
