Dear Editor,

I do not know who the strategists for the PPP/C are, but they are doing a great favour for the PNC/R, APNU,  WPA and AFC parties. Members and supporters of these parties have quietly set up a challenge which is  for every Member of Parliament (MP), or high-profile person who goes over to the PPP, they will ensure  that their parties get at least twenty more votes. In addition, the more dramatic the cross-over, they plan to  get another ten more votes. I find this to be very interesting because instead of many of them viewing this  as negative, they are turning it into a positive for their parties. They are saying that when life serves you  lemon, you make lemonade, and that is exactly what they are doing.

So, for Daniel Seeram, Chairman of Region #4 crossing over from the PNC/R to the PPP/C, supporters and  members will get twenty more votes for the PNC/R. For Samuel Sandy, Regional Vice Chairman for Region  #4 going over to the PPP/C, they will get twenty more votes for the PNC/R. For Geeta Chandan-Edmond, Member of Parliament crossing over from the PNC/R to the PPP/C, since there was so much drama around  this announcement in the National Assembly, they plan to get twenty more votes for the PNC/R and ten  extra votes for the drama. For those leaving the AFC to cross over to the PPP/C, the same challenge is on.

I like this challenge, and I would encourage other members and supporters of the PNC/R, APNU, WPA and  AFC parties to go out into your communities, talk to your family members, friends and colleagues and get  this challenge expanded as widely as possible, it is a smart campaign strategy. Come on, get the elections  campaign going!

Sincerely,

Audreyanna Thomas
