Green Rejects ‘Wismar Massacre’ Label, Calls for Historical Accuracy

Despite reported statistical reductions in domestic violence homicides, our nation continues to witness tragic cases of femicide in 2025. Our letter critically examines the systemic failures behind these preventable deaths and calls for urgent, comprehensive reform of Guyana’s GBV response strategies.

The letter is attached in Word format for your convenience. We believe this issue deserves immediate public attention and hope you will consider publishing it in full. We are also available for follow-up discussions on this critical topic.
