The University of Guyana’s Inter-Faculty Track and Field Super Champs 2025 ended with a bang after two days of intense competition, which saw students and staff competing for glory in various sporting disciplines.

The event was planned and executed by the Sports Unit, which falls under the Students’ Welfare Division within the Registry, and demonstrates the institution’s commitment to the development of sports across the university’s campuses. The first day, which featured throwing events, was held at the Turkeyen Campus on April 3rd, while the second day, which featured thrilling track and field events—including sprints, long jump, javelin, and relay races—was held at the Eve Leary Ground in Georgetown on April 4th.
