In a landmark achievement for Guyana’s business sector, Express International Inc. has made history by becoming the first and only 100% Guyanese-owned and managed firm to earn a spot on the prestigious OA500 2025 Index, a globally recognised ranking of top outsourcing providers.

The company secured position #1,341 among more than 3,000 verified outsourcing firms worldwide, distinguishing itself for its high-quality service delivery, innovation, and operational efficiency. This milestone positions Express International alongside industry titans like Teleperformance (ranked #1 globally) and Qualfon (#77)—both of which have significant operations in Guyana but are foreign-owned.

“This recognition represents more than just a ranking—it’s validation of Guyana’s potential as a world-class BPO destination and our company’s commitment to excellence,” said Ken Deocharran, CEO of Express International. “Being recognised globally while remaining 100% Guyanese-owned is a testament to the talent and dedication of our team.”

While multinational firms often boast thousands of seats, Express International earned its place in the OA500 with fewer than 300 seats, proving that quality and specialisation can rival scale. The company has built a strong reputation in the U.S. transportation, trucking, and logistics sectors, delivering customised solutions that have saved clients millions while enhancing service performance.

The OA500 Index, published by Outsource Accelerator, is a globally respected benchmarking report for the business process outsourcing industry. Rankings are based on comprehensive criteria including client outcomes, innovation, visibility, and market leadership.

Express International’s rise reflects a broader trend as Guyana emerges as a competitive player in the global BPO industry, with a stable business climate, a young, English-speaking workforce, and cultural alignment with North American markets.

The clients consistently report not just 40-50% cost savings, but also improved quality and strategic advantages, Deocharran added. “Being recognised globally while remaining 100% Guyanese-owned is a testament to the talent and dedication of our team.”

This recognition not only validates Express International’s operational excellence but also positions Guyana as a rising star in the global outsourcing arena—one where local ownership and world-class standards can go hand in hand.
