At just 27 years old, Alencia Douglas Soomaru embraces motherhood’s joys while embarking on an exciting entrepreneurial journey. A proud mother to a five-month-old son and married to the love of her life, Alencia has always had a passion for cooking. Her interests extend beyond the kitchen; she enjoys watching shows related to criminology, medical dramas, and mysteries, reading romance and mystery novels, and indulging in anime.

Alencia’s culinary journey took a significant turn during a conversation with her mother-in-law, who suggested that she consider starting a food business. Encouraged by her friends, family, and husband, Alencia took time to reflect on this idea. She recognized that combining her love for cooking with entrepreneurship could provide a stable and lucrative opportunity for her family.

However, the path to launching her business has not been without challenges. Alencia describes the experience as overwhelming and exhausting at times, especially while adjusting to the demands of being a new mother. “Having a baby while trying to start a business can be exhausting and challenging,” she admits. Despite these hurdles, she remains focused on her end goal and is determined to continue building her culinary venture.

Her journey has also been marked by moments of self-doubt. “There will be times when you want to give up,” she advises aspiring entrepreneurs. “But don’t ever give in. Push through the self-doubt, push through the tiredness, push through the fear—giving up is never an option.”

Alencia Douglas Soomaru is not just cooking; she is crafting a future filled with promise and purpose, proving that dreams can become reality with passion and perseverance.
