Set against a backdrop of exotic Caribbean flora, with stilt walkers artfully disguised as tropical foliage, patrons were treated to a truly authentic Caribbean culinary and cultural experience. The event featured captivating performances by renowned artists Leandra and Soca superstar Machel Montano, whose unplugged performance captivated the audience with his signature high-energy style.

“Flavour and Flora” is part of Caribbean Airlines’ broader initiative to use culture as a unifying influence within the region. This event follows the successful launch of “Culture in D’Park” during the Trinidad Carnival and the regional T10 Caribbean Village Cricket Tournament, further solidifying the airline’s commitment to promoting Caribbean culture.

The King of Soca, Machel Montano, entertains the audience with his much-anticipated unplugged performance.

Garvin Medera, CEO of Caribbean Airlines, commented on the importance of the airline’s cultural initiatives: “At Caribbean Airlines, we believe in the power of culture to connect people. Events like ‘Flavour and Flora’ are essential in bringing our region together and highlighting the exceptional talent and diversity we have to offer. We are thrilled with the success of this event and look forward to making it an annual tradition. I am also happy to share that part proceeds will be donated to support victims of Hurricane Beryl in the region”.

Caribbean Airlines intends for “Flavour and Flora” to become a staple on its event calendar, continuing to showcase the culinary talent and cultural diversity of the Caribbean
