11yr old Guyanese Samara Siland is the 2024 SAGICOR JUNIOR Girls Champion

Trinidad – In a remarkable display of talent and determination, Samara Siland of Guyana emerged victorious in the Junior Girls Division Two at the SAGICOR Junior Tournament, clinching her first regional title. The tournament, held in Trinidad, showcased the best junior tennis talents from the region.*

In the Round Robin of the Junior Girls Division Two, Siland delivered an impressive performance by defeating Mariah David of Trinidad and Tobago with a decisive 4/2, 4/2 victory. This win secured Siland her first regional championship title. Melissa Goodman, also from Guyana, claimed the runner-up spot in this highly competitive category.
