Region 5 Learning Pod Evaluator Ms. Bidyahwattie Dhanpaul, Honoured for Contribution to Innovative Afterschool Program

Today, region 5 proudly celebrates the outstanding contributions of Ms. Bidyahwattie Dhanpaul, a dedicated evaluator in the STEMGuyana Learning Pods program. Evaluators visit learning pods every two months to understand their issues, concerns, triumphs and to recommend improvements to help the program succeed. Ms. Dhanpaul has been instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of educational quality and integrity across all pod locations.

Evaluators like Ms. Dhanpaul play a critical role in the Learning Pods program, conducting detailed assessments to ensure each pod adheres to regulatory standards, follows prescribed lesson plans, and maintains the overall quality of educational activities. Her meticulous evaluations help guarantee that the program not only meets but often exceeds educational expectations.

“Ms. Dhanpaul’s commitment and meticulous attention to detail have been vital in maintaining the educational excellence of our Learning Pods. Her evaluations ensure that every child receives the best possible learning experience,” said STEMGuyana Evaluations Analyst Ms Samantha Whyte.

Ms. Dhanpaul shared her thoughts on her role, stating, “Being an evaluator allows me to contribute directly to the quality of education our children receive. It’s fulfilling to see the positive impact of our collective efforts on such a grand scale.”

STEMGuyana joins the entire region 5 community in extending heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Dhanpaul for her dedication and hard work, which have been crucial in upholding the success and reputation of the region 5 Learning Pods program. The organization looks forward to her continued excellence and leadership in fostering an environment of learning and growth for all students involved.  The learning pods program includes 40 learning pods across 10 regions of Guyana and is sponsored by IDBLab.
