The Co-operative Republic of Guyana’s Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sport has issued an invitation for bids to supply twenty-five (25) desktop computers for the Kuru Kuru Training Centre. The procurement process will follow the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as outlined in the 2003 Procurement Act and its 2004 Regulations, and it’s open to all eligible contractors.

Interested bidders can seek more information and inspect the Bidding Document at the Procurement Unit of the Ministry, located at Lot 71-72 Main and Quamina Streets, with inquiries directed to the telephone number 226-3668. Office visits for this purpose are welcome between 8:30 to 15:00 hours on weekdays.

All bids must include Valid Business Registration, NIS, and GRA Compliance Certificates. The Tender document is available at the Ministry’s address for a non-refundable fee of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000), payable in cash.

Tender submissions should be in a plain sealed envelope with no identifying marks of the Tenderer, but clearly marked “Procurement of twenty-five (25) Desktop computers for Kuru Kuru Training Centre” on the top, left-hand corner. Each bid must include an original and one exact copy, written and contained in a single sealed envelope. The Ministry also allows for one electronic bid submission (Flash Drive Only). Any corrections in the bids must be made by crossing out, initialing, dating, and rewriting, with all prices in indelible ink. The use of correction fluid is expressly forbidden.

Tenders are to be delivered to the Chairman of the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board at the Ministry of Finance, 46 Main and Urquhart Streets, Georgetown, by 9:00 hours on Thursday, April 11, 2024. The opening of bids will occur in the presence of Service Providers or their representatives who opt to attend.

The Ministry reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without providing any reason. Bidders must also complete the Bidders Registration via the NPTA website at [https://www.npta.gov.gy/bidders-registration/](https://www.npta.gov.gy/bidders-registration/).

This notice comes from the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sport, signifying a formal call to suppliers for the provision of essential computer equipment to support the Kuru Kuru Training Centre’s operational needs.
