Meet Potential Employees

The Job Fair component will feature leading local and international public and private sector companies, including ExxonMobil Guyana, SLB, CNOOC, AGM Inc. Republic Bank Ltd, GTT, Guyana Defence Force, among others.  Additionally, other representatives from the recruitment and service sectors will be present, offering comprehensive insights into various career opportunities including on-the-spot job interviews.

Opening Ceremony

The event will commence with a grand Opening Ceremony, on the first day – Thursday, March 21st, 2024, at 9:30 hrs at the George Walcott Lecture Theatre (GWLT), Turkeyen Campus. It will be graced by the presence of the UG’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Paloma Mohamed Martin and other key university officials, development partners and industry experts among others and will be live-streamed on the University’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/uniofguyana/.
