Following this, they ventured into robotics programming, where they learned to operate various sensors such as the IR sensor and LED sensor. Remarkably, some of the girls successfully programmed the DC motors on their first attempt, showcasing their aptitude and determination.

The atmosphere throughout the session was vibrant and collaborative, brimming with curiosity, innovation, and empowerment. Participants embraced the opportunity to explore STEM concepts in a supportive environment, fostering a sense of confidence and enthusiasm for future endeavors.  The program was led by STEMGuyana Trainers Dominic Budhan, Xaria Holder and T’Sahai Holder.  The Holders were also members of the outstanding All-Girls National Robotics team that performed outstandingly at the 2020 First Global Robotics Challenge in Singapore.
