Liu Jianchao, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Friday met with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Washington D.C. and discussed China-U.S. relations.

The two agreed to strengthen dialogue and cooperation and continuously push forward the implementation of the consensus and outcomes reached between the two heads of state at the San Francisco meeting.

They also exchanged views on other international and regional issues, according to the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
