OPEC+ slashes output, Brazil to join in 2024
November 30, 2023. “ VIENNA: Saudi Arabia on Thursday announced it would extend its voluntary oil production cut of one million barrels per day “until the end of the first quarter of 2024”, according to a statement.”

A larger group called OPEC+, consisting of OPEC members plus other oil-producing countries, formed in late 2016 to exert more control on the global crude-oil market. Canada, Egypt, Norway, and Oman are observer states.
