After an eventful day that included exhilarating  competitions and touching demonstrations of solidarity,  the Kaieteur Attack Racing Cycling Club (KARCC) is  delighted to declare the triumphant conclusion of the  Fireworks 2 Pink Edition Cycle Race, which took place on  October 29, 2023. At 10:00 AM (1000 hrs), the Fireworks 2 Pink Edition  Cycle Race began at the Band Stand in Georgetown.

Competing were enthusiastic riders from both local and  foreign teams. A beautiful path, Seawall Public Road,

High Street, Young Street, Camp Road, and back to the  Band Stand was used for the event.

KARCC expresses its sincere appreciation to the Guyana Cycling Federation, the Guyana Police  Force, the Guyana Fire Service, Ministry of Public Works, Pegasus Hotel and the Press for their  assistance during the planning and implementation of this event. We’d also want to extend our  deepest gratitude to the event’s kind sponsors, without whom this wouldn’t have been possible:

Sherwin Williams Paint, Colours, Anchor Cement, Rays Auto Sale, Professional Key Shop, BM Soat,  Sleepin Hotel & Bike Shop, Monty Lewis, Mohamed Enterprise, Fitness Express, Royal Chicken, Prem  Electrical, Auto Toy Store

Their generous contributions significantly contributed to the overall success of the Fireworks 2 Pink  Edition Cycle Race.

A large number of onlookers were up to cheer on  the athletes and show their support for the goal of  raising breast cancer awareness. In addition to  encouraging friendly rivalry, this group effort  brought everyone involved closer together and  strengthened their feeling of community. Following the remarkable success of the Fireworks 2  Pink Edition Cycle Race, KARCC eagerly anticipates  future endeavours that will have an even greater  impact. Sustaining a sense of community in Guyana  while nurturing cycling excellence and awareness of  significant social issues are the club’s enduring  objectives.
