Lots of action! 3 big match-ups in CG United Super50 Cup

Get ready to rep your team today as we prepare to go into overdrive in the CG United Super50 Cup. It’s “Wave That Flag” Wednesday is ‘biggest” day of the marquee List A tournament as we stage – not 1, not 2, but 3 mega-matches in Trinidad. All three get going at 9am (8am Jamaica Time).

Over in Port of Spain at the historic Queen’s Park Oval, West Indies Academy will look to continue their good showing when they tackle last year’s champions Jamaica Scorpions.

The third showdown will see a confident Guyana Harpy Eagles taking on Combined Campuses & Colleges who will like to take advantage on their home turf the Frank Worrell Ground at the UWI SPEC at the St Augustine campus.

The other two teams in the tournament are at the top of the table. Leeward Islands Hurricanes, with Alzarri Joseph at the helm, have 14 points from their three matches – which include comprehensive wins over Jamaica Scorpions and the West Indies Academy.

The Trinis, being led by Darren Bravo, have also been in red-hot form entertaining their loyal home fans and have so far complied 12 points from their three matches – wins over Windwards and archrivals Guyana. The other result was a rained out no-decision when they faced CCC.
