A 17-year-old Customer Service Agent of Mocha, East Bank Demerara is now dead after he allegedly drowned on July 29th at Chanta Creek, Soesdyke Linden Highway.
The dead teen’s name was given as Myles Munroe.
Munroe and a group of friends went to Chanta Creek at around 13:00hrs. Hours after his companions noticed that Munroe had gone missing, and his whereabouts were unknown. An alarm was raised, and his friends, along with public-spirited persons, formed a search party. While searching, Munroe’s motionless body was found under the water in the said creek. The body was examined, and no marks of violence were seen.
The body was taken to the Diamond Diagnostic Center, where Munroe was pronounced dead on arrival by a doctor on duty. The body was then escorted to the Memorial Funeral Home, awaiting a post-mortem examination.…
