Keeping his promise to residents  (B) Field Sophia, Georgetown, Mayor Pt. Ubraj Narine donates street lights on Wednesday. 
 
The donation not only enhances the safety and enjoyment of the local residents but also serves as a testament to Mayor Narine’s unwavering dedication to the betterment of the community.
 
The mayor said development and improvement of local infrastructure and recreational spaces are key priorities.
 
During his tenure, Narine vowed to revitalise neglected areas and provide residents with a safe and inviting environment. The donation of lights to (B) Field is an example of his commitment to fulfilling these promises.
 
Narine expressed his gratitude to the community for their support during his tenure and emphasised the importance of fulfilling promises made to constituents.
 
 “I am honored to have had the opportunity to serve the wonderful people of Sophia during my time as mayor. This donation of lights to (B) Field is a small token of my appreciation and a reflection of my commitment to improving the quality of life for all residents. I hope that this initiative will inspire others to invest in their communities and create lasting positive change.”
 
Residents said the donation is seen as testimony of Narine’s strong leadership and genuine concern for the well-being of the community and desire to bring about tangible and meaningful change.  
 
One resident said Mayor Narine’s commitment to fulfilling promises sets an inspiring example for future leaders and residents alike
