Which meant, with television royalty counted a confidant, he who is 15 sought advice on avenues into the industry. And with advice sought. Advice was delivered. But Phillip Scofield is conning, having much more than advice to fulfil. As a result, with grooming paramount, he shouldered the responsibilities of being both a caring mentor and job provider. Which takes us to this most painful of semantics. Grooming. Grooming representing a disparity in power. Grooming representing a disparity in age. Grooming representing a disparity in social standing.

Manipulate, exploit and abuse for the purposes of sex or trafficking. Where consequential to these abuses, are the physical and mental scars;

Suicidal ideations

Difficulty in interpersonal relationships.
Thus, Phillip Scofield we revisit. For it’s without doubt he groomed, he who was 15. And for this reason, he rightly lost all. For he was terminated by his employer, ITV. His 40yr Talk Show Host career came to a humiliating conclusion. His boss, the CEO of ITV, was compelled to testify to the Parliamentary Committee on Culture. He lost £millions in endorsement. He lost his Charities. And he was publicly humiliated.
But then we recall the Kwame McCoy tapes. For I’ve heard the tapes. You’ve heard the tapes. The ABC Embassies have heard the tapes. For what they, and we heard, was beyond reasonable doubt. For what they heard, meant his visas were summarily revoked. For what we heard was a voice indistinguishable from Kwame McCoy’s. A voice beseeching an underaged schoolboy for sexual favours. Rape. A voice reassuring a petrified virgin schoolboy, of a gentle sexual induction. But unfortunately that was the last we heard, with it having found its way under the proverbial carpet.
Which means, all eyes are on Freedom House. All eyes, demanding to see a Phillip Scofield type accountability, rather than a Kwame McCoy outcome.
