STATEMENT ON ALLEGATIONS OF SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AGAINST MINISTER NIGEL DHARMALALL 

I am appalled by allegations of sexual exploitation made against the Minister of Local Government, Nigel Dharmalall.

Henceforth, I shall proceed to get further information to complete a thorough legal assessment of the facts on this odious allegation.

Upon completion of this examination, I shall proceed to ensure that all the necessary legal actions are taken to ensure that justice is done.

The exploitation of our girls is reprehensible and where this occurs, at any level, should be cause for concern, investigations and legal referrals based on the facts that emerge.

I hereby encourage all involved in this matter to provide all facts that can assist us in this endeavour.
