Guyanese nationals graduate from Capacity Building Management training programme

On Wednesday, March 29th., 2023, ActionINVEST Caribbean Inc. (ACI) and Cataleya Energy Limited held a graduation ceremony for the SeminarCLUB training programme in twelve rigorous courses employable in technical and administrative businesses. This programme was aimed at upskilling interested Guyanese nationals in the agriculture, agro processing, tourism and hospitality, and manufacturing sectors.

The twelve 3-hour in-person training sessions were held biweekly for six months, upon which the graduation ceremony was a celebration of the hard work and dedication of the trainees who have completed the programme. The programme entailed soft skills training in financial management techniques, customer-first methodologies, and systematising operations.

The event, attended by senior executives from Cataleya Energy and other distinguished guests, awarded the graduates their certificates of completion, with Mr. Ryan Pereira, Co-Founder and CEO of Cataleya Energy, Mr. Gavin Ramsoondar, CFO and Ms. Bindiya Singh, Assistant Accountant engaged in the handover.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Keon Smith, Training Director of ActionINVEST Caribbean Inc. expressed satisfaction with the programme and the commitment of the graduates. He reiterated Cataleya Energy’s commitment to developing the capacity of Guyanese nationals and supporting the development of the Guyanese economy.
