China’s int’l trade in goods, services hits 3.32 tln yuan in February

BEIJING, March 31 (Xinhua) — China’s international trade in goods and services totaled 3.32 trillion yuan, or 486.8 billion U.S. dollars, in February, up 10 percent year on year, official data showed on Friday.

Exports of goods came in at about 1.54 trillion yuan, and imports neared 1.33 trillion yuan, resulting in a surplus of 210.9 billion yuan, according to the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.

Services exports totaled 178.2 billion yuan last month, and services imports came in at 278.7 billion yuan, resulting in a trade deficit of 100.4 billion yuan.

Transport was the biggest services trade contributor, with a 143.1-billion-yuan trade volume, the data showed.  ■
