The Georgetown City Constabulary team comprising three male and three female ranks won the GVL Edward Collins’ Brigadier General (retired) Dominoes Challenge Trophy on Saturday 18th March 2023, at the Guyana Veterans Legion (GVL) Headquarters,  Carifesta Avenue.

City Constabulary amassed 81 games, GDF Warrant Officers/ Senior Non- Commissioned Officers 69 games, and Guyana Veterans Legion in the cellar with 68 games.

WEST INDIES WIN COMFORTABLY AFTER BLISTERING START FROM KING AND CHARLES

The Competition will be an annual event with the team that wins the Competition three times, earning the right to keep the Trophy. The Edward Collins trophy and medals were handed over to the winning team Captain, Const Persaud by Arno Solomon GVL General Secretary. The Nigel Hinds second-place trophy and medals were handed over by GVL member Patricia John and the Rustum Bulkan third-place trophy and medals were handed over by GVL member Desmond Croker.
