Belle West and the National library were the two learning pods selected in June for the “Learning pods of the month” award.  Awarded monthly, the accolades are given to club leaders who perform outstandingly as they lead their afterschool academic support programs for mostly vulnerable students in learning pods across Guyana.

According to a member of the learning pod leadership team, Ms Melissa Carmichael, “Belle west leader Miss Bibi Shazeela Neisha is exceptional.  She is always prepared, she transitions well between her lessons and she deals with challenges like a pro. She is also pleasant and communicates well. All of who she is can be seen in the quality of work at the pod.. she is always prepared.”
