GTT Business Solutions has recently sealed its support as a platinum sponsor of the International Emnergy Conference, which will open here on Tuesday.
GTT Business Solutions and the Energy conference recently signed a contract to cement its partnership. GTT’s Chief Operations Officer with responsibility for Business Solutions, Orson Ferguson, and the Chief Executive Officer of the International Energy Conference Expo Guyana (IECEG), Angenie Abel, took the opportunity to meet on Feb 9 in anticipation of the conference next week.
The International Energy Conference and Expo Guyana (IECEG) Chief Executive Officer, Angenie Abel said, “GTT Business Solutions on board as a Platinum sponsor of the International Energy Conference and Expo Guyana 2022 shows the company’s commitment to Guyana, understanding that in the next few years Guyana’s demand for high-speed internet will be pivotal as we transform businesses locally.”

“We’d like to thank GTT Business Solutions for their commitment towards helping us make this inaugural event a success as we seek to host one of the largest energy conversations in the region during this first quarter of the year,” Abel added.
In addition to its platinum sponsorship, GTT Business Solutions will provide a Private Branch Exchange (PBX) telephone system along with internet service for the event.
Meanwhile, indicating his team’s readiness for the meeting of local, regional, and international energy experts in Guyana, Ferguson said, “This conference is a great opportunity for us to engage with businesses in the energy sector as well as policymakers on matters of interest to this sector. Over the next few days, we will also be working closely with Small Businesses to develop new solutions to help them take advantage of these new opportunities.

He also highlighted that his team will be making a special announcement for small and medium-sized businesses at the event.
CEO of GTT, Damian Blackburn, who was also present at the gathering, indicated that GTT is all about pivoting the company to become a 21st century customer centric organisation. “In order to do this, we must create solutions to reliably benefit those different segments we cater to, through innovation and commitment,” he said.
The International Energy Conference and Expo will be held from February 15-18, 2022 at the Guyana Marriot Hotel under the theme “Charting a Sustainable Energy Future.”
The event is poised to be an excellent opportunity to highlight Guyana as a key trade and investment destination that would enable investors from other countries to identify opportunities in the local market.
